Site: North-eastern side of mount Etna, in the Domain Valle Galfina, Linguaglossa (Catania). Volcanic soil, rich in minerals. Climate is typical of Etna area, with notable difference in temperatures between day and night. 

Grapes: 100% Nerello Mascalese

Fermentation and Aging: Long maceration, temperature controlled fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged 10-12 months in oak barrels

Notes: A brilliant ruby red, with intensely rich fruity aromas. The smooth and well balanced palate, persistent and pleasantly tannic, pairs deliciously with red meats, roasts, game and mature cheeses.
