Grapes: 100% Aglianico, hand harvested in early November

Fermentation and Aging: Whole cluster fermentation in stainless steel. Long maceration with the skins for 20 days at controlled temperatures. The wine then ages for 30 months in large Slovenian casks.

Notes: Deep ruby red in color, with a full and complex nose of tobacco, cherries, violets, berries and hints of spice. Full in the mouth, with elegant and lingering layers of prune, bitter cherries, strawberry jam, black pepper and leather. Enjoy paired with steak, truffle dishes, and sharp, aged cheeses.
