Site: Grown organically in the estate vineyards in Castelnuovo dell’Abate in the southeastern section of Montalcino near the abbey of Sant’Antimo; stony galestro (marl) substrate.
Grapes: 50% Sangiovese and 50% Colorino
Fermentation and Aging: Temperature controlled, 7-8 day maceration. Matured for 6 months in 500 liter neutral French oak Tonneaux.
Notes: About 20,000 bottles produced.
