In a few words: Happiness is… a lovely wine that tastes considerably more important than its price.

Site: 1.5 hectares in Berzé and 1 hectare in Milly. Clay-limestone soil. Southwest facing in Berzé, 375 to 415m above sea-level with a 25 to 30% gradient. Milly has an average altitude of 300m with a 15 to 20% gradient.

Grapes: 100% Chardonnay. Average vine age of 15 years in Berzé and 20 to 30 years in Milly.

Fermentation and Aging: Fermented in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks around 18°C. Alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously from native yeast. Full and spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aged for 6 months on the lees without racking or batonnage. Bottled the following spring after the harvest.

Notes: Clear and bright, with vivacious aromas of lemon, grapefruit, green apple and a touch of white flowers. It is light and dynamic, with a delightfully crisp finish. Lovely as an aperitif or paired with seafood, shellfish, and sushi.
