Locale:
Cornas, France
Appellation: Saint-Péray Controlée
Designation: AOC

In a few words: A distinctly harmonious wine.

Site: The vines, on average thirty years old, are planted on colluvium mixed with coarse sand comprised of granite and clay-limestone. Vines are trained and pruned in the Gobelet style and supported by stakes.

Grapes: 100% Marsanne, harvested by hand

Fermentation and Aging: Malolactic fermentation at low temperature in concrete vats. Maturation on fine lees in concrete vats for approximately 10 months. Bottling in springtime after the harvest. 6.600 bottles produced.

Notes: The Harmonie offers a creamy texture with notes of honey and stone fruit. The palate is round and ripe, but retains nice freshness. Bright and rich, with spice notes on the finish. Pair with trout, salmon, tuna, or shellfish with vegetables. Also great with mild and soft cheeses.
