Site: Hand harvested from estate vineyards high above the Douro river.
Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca,Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca
Fermentation and Aging: After hand harvesting, the wine is fermented on its skins until fermentation is interrupted with the addition of brandy. It then spends years in large old barrels in order to give it an oxidative environment, and average of 10 years. Vintages are blended and bottled and presented to the market.

Notes: We suggest that this Port is served as a digestive, with desserts, nuts and roasted almonds. Serve at cellar-temperature of 55ºF or so.
