Site: Hand harvested from estate vineyards high above the Douro river.
Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca,Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca
Fermentation and Aging: After hand harvesting, the wine is fermented on its skins until fermentation is interrupted with the addition of brandy. It then spends from 3 to 5 years in large old barrels in order to give it an oxidative environment. Blended and bottled and presented to the market.

Notes: Tawny Port is a specialty of the house. Serve as a digestive, or pair with desserts made of chocolate, almonds and custard, apple pie, dried fruits. Serve at cellar-temperature of 55ºF or so.
