In a few words: Youthful and fragrant, harmonious and wonderfully expressive.
Site: Vineyards are located in Caprino Veronese, with southern sun exposure at an altitude between 250-300 meters above sea level. Glacial morainic soil composition. Vines are 10-20 years of age, trained in the Guyot method. Harvest begins between late September and early October.
Grapes: Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella
Fermentation and Aging: Grapes are destemmed and pressed, followed by fermentation at 20-24° C lasting approximately 10 days. After racking off, the wine remains in contact with its fine lees until bottled.
Notes: This wine stands out for its vibrant ruby red color, with reflections that tend to become orange as it matures. On the nose, it flatters the glass with expressive floral notes of dried rose and violet, enriched with overtones of black cherry, plum and strawberry. Its light body unfurls harmoniously on the palate, presenting a light-footed and wonderfully velvety texture, with a balanced acidity and freshness. Perfect when served slightly chilled, it pairs beautifully with Mediterranean cuisine and summer dishes like pasta with vegetables and white meats.
