In a few words: A light and lively red wine for all occasions.
Site: Located a stone's throw from the municipality of Sommacampagna, south east of Lake Garda. The vineyards are 100-150 meters above sea level, with calcareous, clayey, gravelly, sandy soil.
Grapes: Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara. Vines are guyot trained and harvested from September to the first ten days of October.
Fermentation and Aging: Soft crushing and destemming. Prior to fermentation, a short cold maceration is followed by slow fermentation on the skins in steel vats and at a constantly controlled temperature.
Notes: Vibrant ruby red color. Fruity and spicy aromas such as red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, cranberry, cinnamon, cloves and black pepper. Light body with medium acidity; fruity and spicy to match the nose. Medium finish. Excellent with appetizers, grilled fish, salumi, tapas, or pasta.
