Winery: Castellucci Miano
Site: Grown on the slopes of the Madonie mountain, at an altitude of 500-900m above sea level. Soils are sandy clay with limestone.
Grapes: Nero d’Avola, trained to espalier, pruned guyot. Average Age of vineyard 30 to 40 years. Grape harvest in October.
Fermentation and Aging: Red wine vinification, with controlled fermentation temperatures. Elevage in both stainless steel tanks and barriques for 10 months.
